Ingredient:Serves 4
Chicken thigh 1
Lotus root 1/2
Eggs 3
White leek abut 15 cm
Chopped green onion as needed
Lettuce 1 whole
Ginger (grated) as needed
Sake (white wine) 0.5 Tbsp
Tsuyu Soup 1.5 Tbsps
Mayonnaise 0.5 Tbsp
Potato starch as needed
Oil as needed
Sesame oil as needed
Dashi Soy Sauce 1.5 Tbsps
Preparation
  1. Slice chicken, season with grated ginger and sake.
  2. Cut lotus root into 1 cm cubes and rinse in water. Drain. Boil quickly and combine with half of the Dashi Soy Sauce.
  3. Cut white leek diagonally.
  4. Mix egg with Tsuyu Soup and mayonnaise, heat oil in frying pan, and scramble egg to a slightly soft consistency. Remove from pan.
  5. Dust chicken (1) well with potato starch and fry in sesame oil. Add (2) and fry, then (3). Season with the rest of the Dashi Soy Sauce and mix in egg (4).
  6. Arrange on a plate, sprinkle with diced green onion, and wrap with lettuce to eat.
